Roadrunner Vibes Restored: Mopar Clone Gets Custom Interior Touches at DSD

Here’s a cool project we recently wrapped up — a Mopar Roadrunner clone brought in by a customer who wanted to bring it a little closer to its original look and feel. While this wasn’t a factory-spec Roadrunner, the spirit was there, and the owner had a clear vision.

As with many clone projects, some of the interior parts were sourced from different vehicles, which can make things a bit tricky — especially when it comes to the seats. Roadrunner seats aren’t easy to come by, but that didn’t stop us. The customer asked if we could modify the existing seats to look more original, and we were happy to take on the challenge.

We reshaped, re-padded, and reupholstered the seats to capture that vintage Mopar vibe, blending comfort with period-correct style. While we were at it, we also installed a new headliner and took care of a few small upgrades and refinements to tie it all together.

The result? A sharp, clean interior that honors the Roadrunner legacy while making the most of what was available — customized, tasteful, and true to the build.
