Throwback Build: One-of-a-Kind Custom Interior for a Wild Chevy Shoebox

We’re throwing it back to one of our wildest and most memorable interior builds here at DSD Motorsports & Resto Mod Garage — this incredible Chevy shoebox with a completely custom, one-off interior that turned heads and pushed boundaries.

This wasn’t your average reupholstery job — every inch of this interior was hand-crafted using high-quality materials and cutting-edge techniques. The seats were either heavily modified or entirely scratch-built using composite fabrication — no bolt-in parts here. Each component was shaped to flow with the car’s lines while delivering unmatched style and comfort.

To bring the vision together, we installed high-end Berber carpet for a clean, upscale look, and used a premium imitation leather that delivered the appearance and durability of the real thing without sacrificing flexibility or design freedom.

This interior was designed to be functional, futuristic, and totally one-of-a-kind — just like the car it belongs to. Every stitch, seam, and surface was built in-house by our team, showcasing what’s possible when imagination meets fabrication expertise.
